If you're looking for good, no fuss Mexican food in Memphis, then head to Las Delicias Mexican Bar & Grill. This is a super popular joint that attracts huge line ups during lunch. This isn't really a place you go for atmosphere. The interior is extremely plain and has just the bare minimum needed to serve their customers - tables, chairs and a cash register.
Their tortillas and salsa that are served before the meal are always fresh. Their tortillas are crispy and have a nice airy texture.
